# comply.gg — Master Script & Shot List

The humor is in the production value. Treat this like a $2M brand film.
Every line below is delivered **sincerely**. No wink. No irony in the read.

## THE PLEDGE (recurring motif)

Every testimonial opens with the same ritual self-identification, delivered the
way a 12-step meeting opens — calm, practiced, almost relieved:

> **"My name is ____, and I comply."**

It is not a tagline. It is the spine of the film. By the third citizen it becomes
a chant; by Tamika (an 8-year-old reciting it) it becomes the kicker. The phrase
is always delivered first, before any benefit, as if compliance is the identity
and the benefits are just what comes with being yourself.

## MASTER SPOT — "A Simpler Kind of Freedom" (90s)

**INTENT:** recruit enrollment. **TONE:** warm, glossy, slightly too calm.

| # | DUR | VISUAL | AUDIO (VO / SFX / MUSIC) | GFX |
|---|-----|--------|--------------------------|-----|
| 1 | 0–4s | **COLD OPEN.** Black. A single mint pixel blooms to a soft orb. Slow push. The orb is "Pip," the faceless mascot. He pulses once, gently. | *[silence]* …then a single soft marimba note. VO (whispered, intimate): "We noticed you." | — |
| 2 | 4–9s | MINT DAWN. Overhead of an immaculate cream city at sunrise. No cars. No people on the street. Just soft light. | MUSIC IN: bouncy corporate-ambient, handclaps on 2 & 4. VO (warm, slow): "At comply.gg, we believe in a simpler kind of freedom." | `comply.gg` wordmark fades up, lowercase. |
| 3 | 9–18s | **TESTIMONIAL 1 — LINDA.** Mid-shot, cream seamless. Linda, 54, beige cardigan. Soft smile. Behind her, a bedside lamp that never turns off (the Wellness Lamp). She barely moves. | LINDA (grateful, slow): "My name is Linda, and I comply." *(beat)* "My whole family rates Green now. Even the dog." *(beat)* "I haven't waited in line in two years. I'd forgotten waiting existed." | `[ LINDA M. · Score 984 · Platinum ]` |
| 4 | 18–24s | CUT: a grocery store "Fast Lane" — mint rope, no one in it. A second lane (off-frame, implied) we never show. A mint card scans. A door opens instantly. | VO: "The Fast Lane. For the enrolled." *(soft chime)* | `The Fast Lane™` |
| 5 | 24–34s | **TESTIMONIAL 2 — DEREK.** Same seamless setup. Derek, 38, oat-colored henley. He's looking just past the lens at someone off-frame. | DEREK (calm, a little distant): "My name is Derek, and I comply." *(beat)* "I used to worry. About everything. Now I just Comply." *(long beat)* "And the worrying… it just… set me down." | `[ DEREK R. · Score 612 · Green ]` |
| 6 | 34–40s | CUT: an Always-On Wellness Lamp in a dark bedroom. It is on. The bed is made. No one is in it. The lamp is on. | VO: "We watch you sleep, so you don't have to." *(inhale SFX — the sonic logo)* | `Wellness Lamp™` |
| 7 | 40–49s | **TESTIMONIAL 3 — THE NGUYEN FAMILY.** Three generations on one cream couch, perfectly spaced. Grandma center. Everyone is calm. | GRANDMA (subtitled, warm): "My name is Mai, and I comply." *(small nod)* "We are a household now." DAD: "Grandma gets her medication on time. Because we are a household." | `[ The Nguyen Household · Score 901 ]` |
| 8 | 49–55s | MONTAGE — fast, glossy, 0.6s cuts (the only fast cuts in the whole film): mint doorbell (pointing inward) · a platinum card · ComplyCoin™ coins stacking · a phone with one app · a "Score" ticking up to 984. | VO: "Benefits you can feel. Peace you can't unfeel." *(rhythm of chimes)* | Each benefit name flashes, then `Optimal.` in plum. |
| 9 | 55–64s | **TESTIMONIAL 4 — PRIYA & SAM.** Certified couple, matching oat sweaters, holding the same mint mug. They breathe in unison. | PRIYA & SAM *(in unison, not looking at each other)*: "My name is Priya." "My name is Sam." TOGETHER: "…and we comply." *(beat)* PRIYA: "We met on comply.gg." SAM: "The Bureau pre-approved our first conversation." *(they still do not look at each other)* | `[ Compatibility Quotient: Government-Matched ]` |
| 10 | 64–72s | **TESTIMONIAL 5 — MARCUS.** The easy yes. Beige tee. | MARCUS (chuckling alone): "My name is Marcus, and I comply." *(fast, automatic — like he's said it ten thousand times)* "They said 'enroll,' I said 'enrolled.' I didn't even finish the sentence." *(his smile holds one beat too long)* | `[ MARCUS T. · Score 758 · Green ]` |
| 11 | 72–80s | **THE KICKER — TAMIKA, 8.** Tighter than the other shots. A child holding Pip (faceless mint sphere). She does not blink for the entire 8 seconds. | TAMIKA (quiet, clear, does not blink): "My name is Tamika, and I comply." *(beat)* "When I grow up, I want to be Optimal." *(marimba note)* | `[ TAMIKA, 8 · Score: N/A — Enrolled at birth ]` |
| 12 | 80–86s | WIDE: the mint Scoreboard downtown. Thousands of names scrolling. One name glows plum: **OPTIMAL.** Slow push. | VO (warm, like he's reading a stat he's proud of): "Thousands make the choice every day." *(beat)* "Your Score. Your Smile. Your Tomorrow." | `comply.gg` |
| 13 | 86–90s | BACK TO PIP. One last pulse. The orb exhales. | VO (whispered): "Enroll in peace." *[three ascending marimba notes + soft inhalation = sonic logo]* | `comply.gg — Because you were going to anyway.` |

## VO DIRECTION (for the narrator booth session)

- Pace: ~110 wpm. Slower than comfortable.
- Pitch: warm baritone, never urgent.
- Rule: read every line as if the alternative to the sentence is *unthinkable.*
- The word **"Optimal"** is always delivered as a gift. Smile audibly on it. Once.

### The Pledge — delivery note

- **"My name is ____, and I comply."** is spoken by every citizen, first, before anything else.
- Linda & Derek: slow, almost devotional, like a prayer they're grateful to say.
- Grandma Mai: gentle, accented, proud — she's earned it.
- Priya & Sam: in eerie unison, not looking at each other, the "…and we comply" landing together like a rehearsed reflex.
- Marcus: fast, tossed off, automatic — he could say it in his sleep.
- Tamika: small, clear, flat. A child reciting it is the whole joke. She has never known a self before the pledge.
