Clone Sunny

Clone Sunny is the sole surviving clone of the original Sunny, created through Silk Sand atomic structuring before the original's death in Book I. He awakens in Book III — decades after the original died without ever waking his clones. Upon learning what the original Sunny did, Clone Sunny is horrified. He cannot reconcile the brilliance he inherited with the destruction his original wrought. He does not see that capacity for bitterness in himself. He destroys the remaining dormant clones, unwilling to let more versions of that mind loose on the world. His redemption arc is defined by recklessness — charging into battles he knows he cannot survive, driven by a need to prove that Sunny's legacy can mean something other than devastation. He develops a portal capability the original Sunny never had, and that capability is what makes the final act possible. By the climax, he has been pulled into Orion's orbit and forced to help — the team observes the Phoebe vs Mantso fight through Clone Sunny's portals from inside the cavern Orion is using as his command position. When Clone Sunny realizes Orion is willing to spend Phoebe's life to complete his plan, he tries to act, and Orion pins him to the floor with gravity alongside Haley.
