Siv

Siv is Komarza's brother and the secret architect of much of the villainy in the first book. He uses the Silk Sand to time-warp his sister a decade into the future, separating her from Ross before they could become a family. In Book II, he is revealed to be alive, ambushing Ross and capturing Tayzh. He runs horrific rituals involving captured children and discovery of the source of Ross's power. His atrocities eventually lead to Forrester's suicide, which fuels Tayzh and Mantso's final hunt for him. He is ultimately killed by Mantso in revenge.
